This role requires a deep understanding of optical engineering principles and experience with space-grade components. You can optimize the performance of optical designs using merit functions in Zemax / OpticStudio, and simulate their performance in various conditions. You don’t want to stay in the office all the time, and have affinity with optical manufacturing and testing in the lab. This role requires a deep understanding of the space sector and/or the drone market. You know the field well and can position Tiny Telescope as a cost effective solution for potential customers. This function requires regular travel to national and international trade shows, conferences and customers. Affinity with technology is definitely a pré.

Part-Time to Full-Time | The Netherlands

Tiny Telescope is looking for a Test Engineer to validate the performance of our next-generation optical systems in space environments. This role requires a hand-on approach to test optical performance using optical measurement facilities, in combination with vacuum- cryogenic equipment as well as writing test reports. This job requires occasional travel to other measurement facilities and customers.
